We're in the very first months of our very first year of the midwifery mentorship program and doula training. Our first
group of students has just begun, but by June they will be trained not only as "doulas" - able to provide labor
support -- but also capable of functioning as midwife assistants, childbirth educators, and lactation advisers.
We expect them to be very busy in our second year with opportunities for hands-on birthing experience!
