The United States has higher rates of mother or baby deaths than any other industrialized country, and these
rates are even worse for African American women. We have the most expensive health care system; and the highest level of technology,
yet we have the worst access. Our health care is available only to those who are able to pay for it -- or who have others
to pay the bills for them.
We believe this is unfair.
We believe mothers and babies should not have to suffer because they are locked out of health care systems. We believe
mothers and babies deserve the best -- PERSONALISED prenatal care -- and respectful treatment during pregnancy and birth!
