Bio: I've been a midwife most of my life (helped on my first birth when i was 17 years old). I've carried various certifcations and licenses over the years,but I call myself a "midwife" and not a series of initials.
I manage midwiferyeducation.org and Midwife Updates -- an on going series of conferences for midwives, doulas, childbirth educators and other birth professionals.
I love birth, babies, families -- and believe that a gentle birth is an important step in the process of forming a family and a peaceful culture.
